Hacienda Juan Viñas has been producing sugar in rich volcanic soils in a beautiful and picturesque area of Costa Rica since 1925. Its plantation areas extend from an altitude of 1500 to 600 meters above sea level. Biannual Hawaiian varieties are cultivated in the highlands, and annual varieties from the Caribbean and Brazil are cultivated in the lowlands.

Our mill produces raw, light brown and plantation white sugar as well as molasses.
